Obstacle Course Race at one of America's most iconic backdrops. Run the scenic trails with The Colorado River to your side. Overcome obstacles through natures rugged but beautiful sandstone terrain. Experience amazing views of Horseshoe Bend from obstacles built to give you spectacular one of a kind views of the land mark!

The 2020 race is going to be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Different, longer route than the past. New and switched up obstacles. Same amazing views and brutally beautiful natural course to play on!

Horseshoe Bend Obstacle Course Race

This unique Obstacle Course Race is set to take place on April 18th 2020 near the Horseshoe Bend overlook area, just south of Page, AZ off of highway 89.  A 4-5 mile course will take runners through the adventurous desert terrain, and along the rugged sandstone cliff overlooking the amazing Colorado River and magnificent Horseshoe Bend. 20+ obstacles will be placed along the route to provide runners a fun and more challenging experience.  Several obstacles will provide spectacular backdrops, creating some awesome photos available for all runners!  All runners get dirty, may receive a few cuts and bruises but will definitely receive a Horseshoe Bend OCR t-shirt, and a big shiny medal!  Prizes and awards will also be awarded to the top place finishers!

Parking?  614 N Navajo Dr - Shuttle service will be provided to the race

Heat Times? You can select your heat team at registration and change it up until race week of needed. They start at 7:30 am and continue until 12.

Children?  The full race is suitable for ages 13 and up.

Spectators? Spectators will be allowed at the start finish line area, registration area, and children’s course.  There will be water and shade available.

Water? There will be water and water stations throughout the course.

Food? There will be no food on the course, but you can bring whatever fuel you need (besides Alcohol) to conquer the course at your best

Post-Race Celebration? OF COURSE!  You can’t conquer a course like this and not celebrate! There will be a race village set up nearby! We’ll continue the fun with more activities, vendors, live music, race awards, and more!

Page is LOADED with places to stay.  From over 100+ great VRBO’s to over 20  hotels, you can definitely find something at a great price this time of year.  Wanting to enjoy the environment a bit more? Lake Powell has some amazing shore line camp spots! Check out Lone Rock Beach, or Wahweap Campground.

Anything else to do?  The area is also LOADED with things to do! Slot Canyons, Boat tours and rentals, Fishing, Hiking, so much scenery your eyes may be in recovery for days!
